Lychnis (Lychnis L.)



A kind of plant in Europe Caryophyllaceae Lychnis encountered with sticky meconium with stem bends.

Lychnis - is grown as an ornamental plant because of the large crimson flowers.

 

There are about 30 species mainly in Europe, Asia, North Africa.

Examples of species:

Lychnis White - commonly occurring with a pleasant smell - is a plant two years.

Lychnis forest - with red flowers odorless - long-term.

Lychnis torn - occurring on moist meadows has pink flowers with petals deeply divided - jagged.

Species from Asia meets as ornamental species.
